The Accelerated Pace of the Win9x Era (1995 to 2001)

As a result, this page serves as both an apology for the factual inaccuracies that were caught after the book's publication and also as a personal way for me to keep track in case I ever created a new version. Unless otherwise noted, all of these were noticed by me.

Chapter 02:
"I took a very unbiased yet contemporary approach to both the rankings and the writing overall." should instead say "I made an attempt to filter out bias while taking a contemporary approach to both the rankings and the writing overall." (aka…flatly using 'unbiased' may not have been the most logical word choice).

"So, I wrote everything in an unbiased way." should instead say "So, I tried to lean away from any bias in the writing." (aka...yeah, same deal here).

Chapter 08:
"After two more games, the series was put to rest since New World's parent The 3DO Company filed bankruptcy merely two months after the release of the ninth Might and Magic game." should instead say "After two more games, the series was put to rest since New World's parent The 3DO Company filed bankruptcy slightly over a year after the release of the ninth Might and Magic game." (aka...the ninth game came out in March 2002 while 3DO went under in May 2003, and so I must've misread '2003' for '2002').

Chapter 10:
"The main character of Gothic was an ex-convict. On the verge of his execution, he suddenly received an offer to spare his life. Basically, his redemption was that he had to deliver a letter to a mage in a domed prison colony." should instead say "The main character of Gothic was a convict. On the verge of his sentencing, he suddenly was given an intriguing offer. Basically, he would receive a reward if he delivered a letter to a mage in a domed prison colony." (aka...I conveyed the game's intro incorrectly, as I overlooked that the protagonist’s initial fate wasn't actually stated out loud due to an interruption).
